What this site is
Adulting Hacks covers the practical side of adult life: money, home, health, work, food, life admin, relationships and parenting. Each guide pulls together what credentialed professionals and well-known creators recommend, explains it in plain English, and ends with what to do this week.
We are curators and explainers. We read the planners, clinicians, tradespeople, agencies and creators, compare what they say, and link you to them so you can go deeper. We do not pretend to have tested every product we mention. When we have used something ourselves, we say so in the guide.
Who runs it
Adulting Hacks is published by Island Fox, an incubation studio in California that builds and runs software ventures. Every guide is edited by Eric Iverson.

Eric runs Island Fox, an incubation studio in California that builds and runs software ventures, and has spent two decades building websites for businesses. He is not a financial planner, a lawyer or a doctor. Where a guide touches money, insurance or health, it says so and leans on the licensed professionals it cites.
